Cet effet, en montage avec plusieurs buses, requiert un débit d'entrée de 4.5 à 5.6 m3/h par buse, l'arrivée d'eau est en diamètre 50 mm à coller, l'arrivée d'air en 33 mm. Il faut donc adapter le débit de la pompe en fonction du nombre de buses : par exemple, pour 4 buses, il faudra un débit de 20 m3/h environ. The suction plug:

The water/air "venturi" massages powered by a booster require a suction plug to send the water in the spa pump. You stick your 63 mm diameter pipe directly behind the nozzle.

How to calibrate your BOOSTER pump to power the nozzles?

The choice of pump power will depend on the type of nozzle and/or the number of nozzles installed

-Turbo jet: 10 to 15 m3/h for 1 nozzle

-Venturi massage: 4.5 to 5.6 m3/h per nozzle ( therefore x times the number of nozzles)

We will determine the power of the booster by adding the flow rates of the different nozzles that you wish to install in your whirlpool pool or spa. This will depend on the models and brands, i.e. its performance, but in general, this gives:

It is important to balance the discharge piping network: each inlet (tee) must be centered between each branch (elbow or tee), and the lengths of pipe segments must be equivalent if you want the power is well distributed in all nozzles.

Only the last segments of pipe supplying a single nozzle can be 50 mm in diameter. All common segments must be 63 mm in diameter, as well as the suction.

Connections and electrical connections of the booster:

The switch which allows triggering, positioned from the surroundings of the basin, is not connected electrically: it is a pneumatic button which is connected to an electrical control box located in the separate technical room, with a small pipe called "crystal tube" to pass through a sheath.

This control box is equipped with a pneumatic switch connected to the crystal tube, and therefore to the pneumatic button, located near the spa or swimming pool; as well as amagneto-thermal circuit breaker to be calibrated according to the power of the booster (Amperage) in order to protect it.

2) AIR injection only

This spa effect is designed for the seat of a pool or spa bench, i.e. a water height of 60 cm maximum.

For this effect, there are 2 possibilities depending on the type of coating:.

- Either singular nozzles called "injectors" with 2 different models.

- Either a linear tube "Tube MS" only for coated or mosaic coverings.

Small model injectors for the seat (except liner).

Regarding the connection of the nozzle, it must be mounted with specific tees (32 x 1" x 32 mm). You must have a symmetrical and balanced network, with the use of tees, the network being 32 mm, if the blower is less than 5 m.

Large model injectors for the seat (all coverings).

The assembly principle is the same as for the small model injectors The material is delivered in 2. parts with specific discharge, as well as the grid of 25 small holes The water supply is in diameter 2" threaded (male) or 1"1/2 (female);

Concerning the connection of the nozzle, it is similar to swimming pool discharges, that is to say in 50 or 63 mm plumbing. Always remember to have a symmetrical and balanced network.

MS tubes:

The MS tubes are “caught” in the concrete structure, with the upper flat part of the profile coming flush with the covering (watertight coating, mosaic) (no liner or shell or gel coat).

We then drill holes every 10 to 20 cm on the flush plate with a fine drill bit with a diameter of 5 mm.

Installation of the BLOWER for your air whirlpool

The choice of power will depend on the type, number and depth of the nozzles. Here is a small technical table to help you. As an indication, everything also depends on the quality of the blower you buy

Distripool pro tip:

-It is important not to exceed 5 m of distance between the nozzles and the booster, otherwise, it is necessary to oversize the blower taking into account the pressure losses generated (i.e. the loss of pressure and also flow rate due to the length of the pipes)

-planned sizing for the seated at 60 cm max from the water height, and 1.10-1.20 m for the bottom (geyser)

BLOWER electrical connections and connections:
