Ecological, durable and reliable material

The swimming pool mosaic tiles are made entirely from recycled glass, as guaranteed by its 14021 certification.

This is the most used coating for swimming pools due to its very high resistance. Glass paste mosaic is durable. Its tiles are robust and completely waterproof. They are not affected by maintenance products, including chemicals, which you can use to purify the water in your pool.

The only precaution to take concerns the manufacture of the joints during installation. To ensure they are foolproof, we recommend the use of epoxy joints, which are much more qualitative than cement joints. The latter are sensitive to the products used to keep pool water healthy, while epoxy joints resist everything.

If your swimming pool benefits from natural light - because it is behind a bay window inside or outside where the sun has direct access - the mosaic will be brighter than if it is surrounded by walls or a hedge of trees. Also imagine the influence of the reflections of its surroundings: an ocher wall, a green hedge, etc. Furthermore, artificial lighting, whether indoors or outdoors, also influences colors.

The more light you have, the clearer the water appears. On the other hand, a lack of light instantly makes it darker.

The acquisition of modern Ezarri swimming pool tiles gives you access to their revolutionary system for laying small tiles: JointPoint®. This is a process patented in 1991 which creates attachment points at the back of the tiles, allowing them to be connected to each other and form plates.



These are then easy to apply to the walls of your swimming pool. You are guaranteed a perfect, simple and homogeneous installation of the mosaic on any surface, because it is much easier to align the plates than to lay the tiles one by one.

JointPoint® attaches to a very small part of the tile and leaves 92% of its surface free to apply the glue. The fixing of the mosaic is thus in no way affected. The plates formed remain strong, but also malleable, which allows them to follow the various curves and shapes of the pool. If there is an obstacle to get around, simply cut out the plate.

Finally, JointPoint® offers infallible resistance to water and supports variations in the support which can expand or retract, particularly depending on atmospheric conditions.

Thanks to JointPoint®, you save considerable time during installation and are guaranteed perfect alignment of your tiles. With traditional paper fixation, you work more slowly and alignment becomes much more complicated.

The installation steps for a concrete swimming pool

1 Preparation of the support

Your support must be perfectly clean, smooth and without imperfections. Its humidity level must be less than 3%.

2 Preparation of the adhesive

Prepare your glue according to the instructions in the instructions. The use of an electric mixer is recommended to obtain a smooth and homogeneous solution.

3 Spreading the adhesive

Spread your glue evenly using the 6mm notched trowel.

4 Installation of tiles with the JointPoint system

Apply the plates benefiting from the JointPoint system. Use the rubber float to adhere the plate to the glued support. The tool also helps you correct alignments.

5 Installation of joints

Prepare your solution for the joints using the electric mixer. Apply the joint by spreading it with the flexible trowel, then remove the excess material.

6 Cleaning

Clean your surface with water using the special epoxy felt pen. Then use the special epoxy sponge.

7 Stripping

Let your swimming pool mosaic dry for 24 hours, then clean using an end-of-construction stripper.

Installation on other supports

- Polyester swimming pool: sand the surface beforehand and use a polyurethane adhesive.
- Galvanized steel, propylene or polystyrene swimming pool: waterproof the walls using self-adhesive sheets to guarantee the watertightness of the shell.
