The concrete kit swimming pool, or also called masonry swimming pool, is built following classic masonry rules and methods similar to the construction of the walls of a house.
Made either of normal concrete blocks (also called rubble), or reinforced formwork blocks, filled with concrete. It is obvious that the construction of a swimming pool must meet certain technical specifications which differ from the construction of a home.
This method of construction has the advantage of being very economical, but leaves little choice in the shape of the pool, which will necessarily be geometric.
Construction methods
The concrete blocks are assembled in the classic way with assembly mortar. (not included in the kit)
A structure composed solely of concrete blocks is not strong enough to resist the pressure of the water, the wall will have to be consolidated vertically and horizontally by a series of reinforcements in reinforced concrete, vertical pillars will be made at each corner and every two meters. This installation is done at the time of pouring the raft since the metal frames of the pillars are sealed in the concrete of the raft.
The pillars can thus be poured before or after erecting the walls.
The second construction method for traditional concrete swimming pools is the use of STEPOC type shuttering blocks.
The construction consists of mounting the blocks on the foundation, during construction, you integrate twisted irons on which the blocks will rest. The number of bars must therefore be equal to the number of cells in the blocks which will constitute the first row. If this is not the case, it is always possible to add iron in the base by drilling holes 8 mm in diameter and 15 cm deep using a perforator. The irons are then driven in with a hammer.
Each row of blocks to be reinforced being reinforced vertically and horizontally in order to stiffen the structure, once the walls are erected, all that remains is to pour the concrete at the heart blocks. A finishing level will be carried out on the last row of blocks.

There are different filtration modes, sand, cartridge, diatom, outboard blocks. For our ECO & LUXE construction kits, you can find a traditional filtration system with sand filter.
The hydraulicity of a swimming pool is all the equipment which ensures the good circulation of water and contributes to its quality.
It will be carried out in such a way that the circulation of water operates correctly to ensure that the water is always of good quality.
In our LUXE kits we usea very good quality pump and filter. In addition, we replace the sand withfiltration glass which offers many advantages such asbetter filtration finesse 
It will thus respect the 4 main rules:
Avoid dead zones.
Have an optimal flow rate in the circuit.
Evacuation of pollution as quickly as possible possible.
Ensure rapid and homogeneous diffusion of the disinfectant.
Operating principle of filtrationsimple:
The filtration pump filtration, once connected to the filter and connected to the filtration box, will suck up the water coming from the swimming pool.
It will suck up the water through the suction parts to be sealed, the or the skimmer and the bottom drain.
The water arriving from the different suction sources passes through the pump then into the sand filter: then passes through the filter mass generally made up of filtration sand , placed in the "bottle".
Two layers of sand with different grains are to be provided, to improve the fineness of filtration.

The liner is a flexible PVC membrane, extensible and waterproof, it adapts to all shapes pond. Its primary role is to ensure the watertightness of your swimming pool, but its composition, its "structure" must be sufficiently permeable to allow management of the condensation phenomenon.

The concrete masonry staircase

The staircase install on the liner
this type of prefabricated staircase is installed directly on the liner. They are often weighted with sand or with handrails.
This solution is very easy to install and you avoid the complication of installing a liner with stairs.
The acrylic staircase integrated into the structure
This type of staircase is integrated into the structure of your swimming pool, the liner does not cover the staircase, it is delivered with joints and flanges to ensure waterproofing on site.
