The concrete kit swimming pool, or also called masonry swimming pool, is built following classic masonry rules and methods similar to the construction of the walls of a house.
Made either from normal concrete blocks (called rubble), or from reinforced concrete blocks filled with concrete using a router or wheelbarrow. It is obvious that the construction of a swimming pool must meet certain technical specifications which differ from the construction of a home.
This method of construction has the advantage of being very economical, but leaves little choice in the shape of the pool, which will necessarily be geometric.
Construction methods
The concrete blocks are assembled in the classic way with assembly mortar.
A structure composed solely of concrete blocks is not strong enough to resist water pressure, the wall will have to be consolidated vertically and horizontally with a series of reinforced concrete reinforcements. Vertical pillars will be made at each corner and every two meters. This installation is done at the time of pouring the raft since the metal frames of the pillars are sealed in the concrete of the raft.
The pillars can thus be poured before or after erecting the walls.
The second construction method for traditional concrete swimming pools is the use of STEPOC type shuttering blocks.
Construction consists of mounting the blocks on the raft. During construction, you will integrate twisted irons on which the blocks will be placed. The number of bars must therefore be equal to the number of cells in the blocks which will constitute the first row. If this is not the case, it is always possible to add iron in the base by drilling holes 8 mm in diameter and 15 cm deep using a perforator. We then drive in the bars with a hammer.
Each row of blocks to be reinforced being reinforced vertically and horizontally in order to stiffen the structure, once the walls are erected, all that remains is to pour the concrete in the heart blocks. A finishing level will be carried out on the last row of blocks.

The Skimmer
Its function is to keep the water level perfectly clean. Its position will take into account the prevailing winds (always facing the prevailing winds). Connected to the suction of the filtration group, it quickly absorbs so-called surface impurities. It is sealed between 2 and 4 cm below the coping.
The Backflows
They distribute the filtered water on its return to the pool. Equipped with adjustable jets allowing the jets to be directed towards the surface, the number of delivery nozzles must be equal to or greater than the number of skimmers, (+ 1 generally), and are sealed between 35 and 50 cm below the axis of the part to be sealed (wall crossbar), under the coping.
The broom socket
Its role is to allow the connection of the manual broom, but also of a hydraulic robot cleaner under pressure POLARIS type. It must be placed in the center of the length of the pool, sealed between 20 and 30 cm from the axis under the coping.
The bottom drain
Its main function is to allow draining the basin. It is either in the deep end for diving pit pools, or in the center for flat bottom pools. It also allows the suction of heavier impurities at the bottom of the pool.
The Projector
It lights up your pool at nightfall for a more cozy atmosphere. There are halogen models and more recently LED ones. An LED projector consumes 6 times less than a halogen, i.e. 13 W, and is sealed between 45 and 55 cm under the coping.

Thefiltration system, the quality ofswimming!
There are different filtration modes: sand, cartridge, diatom, outboard blocks. For our PREMIUM construction kits, you can find a traditional filtration system with sand filter. Either in the form of a filtration group with AQUALOON for swimming pools up to 8 x 4 m. Beyond that in kit with filtration with filtration sand.
The hydraulicity of a swimming pool is all the equipment which ensures the good circulation of water and contributes to its quality.
It will be carried out in such a way that the circulation of water operates correctly to ensure that the water is always of good quality.
